Welcome to the team—and to your Synopsys benefits! Keep in mind that you must enroll in your core benefits like medical, dental, and vision within your first 31 days. Once you enroll, coverage begins on your first active day of employment. To make the most of all the Synopsys plans and programs, be sure to review these key milestones.
You must enroll in these benefits within 31 days or wait until the next Open Enrollment period, unless you have a qualified life event change, such as getting married or having a baby. Please note that if you start working at Synopsys at the end of the calendar year, you must enroll twice—once for the current year and once for the coming year.
Don’t Forget Your 401(k)!
Start saving for your future as soon as possible by participating in the Synopsys 401(k) Plan, administered by Fidelity. You can enroll in the plan starting on the first Friday after your hire date.
Don’t want benefits coverage? You still need to take action to avoid automatic enrollment.
When you’re ready to enroll, you can:
- Enroll from work. Visit the Benefits SharePoint webpage, and click on Benefitsolver.
- Enroll from home. Log in to Benefitsolver with your Benefitsolver username and password. If this is your first time using the portal, go to First Time Here and register as a new user. Company key is “Synopsys.” You’ll then be prompted to create a user ID and password.
Once you’re enrolled, you can access your benefits information through the MyChoice mobile app.
Payroll questions? If you have questions about ADP registration, direct deposit, or W-2 and W-4 tax documents, submit a ticket.

Now’s a great time to start thinking about your other benefits—especially those that can help you reach long-term financial goals.
No matter where you are in life, you have several benefits to help you with your health, stress, finances, family plans, and personal issues—and they’re available whenever you need them. No advance enrollment is required, but it’s great to do some research now, so you can take full advantage of them when you need them.
If you don’t take action within your 31-day new-hire window, Synopsys will automatically enroll you in employee-only coverage for these benefits:
If you don’t enroll in the Synopsys 401(k) Plan within 60 days of your hire date, you’ll be auto-enrolled into the 401(k) Plan at a 10% pretax savings rate and invested in an age-appropriate target date fund.
Important! If you don’t take any action to enroll in your benefits, you won’t be able to change your coverage—including enrolling your dependents—until our next Open Enrollment period or if you experience a qualified life event change, such as getting married or having a baby.
