What You Need To Know

Open Enrollment is November 3-14, 2025. It’s your annual opportunity to explore all the benefits programs and resources available to you and select the options that will help you and your family thrive in 2026.

What’s New for 2026

Synopsys is committed to evolving our benefits to better align with your health needs, priorities, and budget. The medical plan insurance is changing from UHC to Anthem Blue Cross (Anthem), and pharmacy benefits are changing from Optum Rx to Carelon.

Medical, Pharmacy, and Dental Plan Changes

We believe our medical, pharmacy, and dental plans changes will provide an improved experience for you and your family, while maintaining the coverage and affordability you rely on.

New Medical and Pharmacy Providers

Anthem offers a broader provider network in many geographic areas, improved digital tools for managing care, and more robust preventive health support and chronic condition management. Anthem gives you access to dedicated advocates who can help you and your family members with real-time support around ID cards, benefits coverage information, making appointments, and managing claims. Advocates partner with the Anthem clinical teams to help with preapprovals and other steps in your health journey.

Key Facts

  • The plan options (two high-deductible health plans — HS Basic and HS Premium — and a PPO plan) will remain the same, so you’ll continue to have access to the same level of coverage.
  • If you’re currently enrolled in one of the UHC plans, your current Synopsys medical plan option will carry forward into 2026 under Anthem unless you make a change.
  • Kaiser plans will remain in place if you live in California or Oregon. If you are currently enrolled in one of the Kaiser plans, you don’t need to do anything unless you want to make a change.
  • If you’re in an active course of treatment or have surgery planned, and your current UHC in-network provider will be out-of-network with Anthem, you can apply for continuation of care. Note: You must apply by June 29, 2026.

New Lower-Cost Dental Plan Option

You now have a choice of two dental plans: the Synopsys Low Dental Plan and the Synopsys High Dental Plan. The new Low Dental Plan covers basic preventive care, like cleanings and routine care, while the High Dental Plan offers more comprehensive benefits, including orthodontia.

Both plans allow you to see any licensed dentist but pay higher benefits when you use a Delta Dental PPO dentist.

Note: Orthodontia benefits are paid in two installments. If you're currently in orthodontia treatment and move to the lower plan, you may not receive future orthodontic payments since the low plan does not include orthodontia benefits.

No Changes to Vision Plans

Vision coverage will stay the same for 2026. You have a choice between two vision plans through Vision Service Plan (VSP): the Signature Plan and the Signature Plus Plan. The Signature Plus Plan costs more in paycheck contributions but provides additional lens enhancements at no extra cost.

2026 Employee Premiums

Synopsys remains deeply committed to supporting your health and wellbeing — today and into the future. As overall healthcare costs continue to rise, we’re working to balance the value of the coverage we offer with the realities of those increasing expenses. Synopsys absorbed part of the increase so we could minimize the impact to employee contributions.

The 2026 employee premiums are listed below. Deductions will be taken out per paycheck on a biweekly basis. Any premiums paid by you, other than for domestic partner coverage, are on a pretax basis.

Health and Wellness Program Changes

To provide you with a more streamlined approach to wellbeing programs and incentives, we’re making some changes to our health and wellness programs. More information about these benefits will be coming in December.

  • New Sydney Health app: After January 1, you’ll have access to the Sydney Health mobile app to keep track of your health and benefits. You can use the new app to find care, compare costs, see what’s covered and check claims, view and use digital ID cards, fill prescriptions, and more.
  • New Wellness Coach: We’re introducing Wellness Coach, a holistic wellness platform that connects you with a diverse team of subject-matter experts. It’s available to you and five additional friends or family members aged 18 and over — all at no cost.
  • Consolidation of health and wellness programs: We’re discontinuing our partnerships with HealthJoy and Wondr. Along with the new Wellness Coach, you’ll continue to have access to several wellbeing programs, including Anthem’s virtual visits and virtual second opinions and Kaiser’s One Pass.
  • Lyra counseling sessions: The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through Lyra will now include up to 12 free counseling visits per year, per covered family member.
