Employee Assistance Program

The Synopsys Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and WorkLife Services benefit provide confidential support for your everyday challenges and even far more serious problems. Synopsys pays the full cost of this benefit, up to 25 sessions, for all U.S. benefits-eligible Synopsys employees and their dependents.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides you with access to:

  • Professional counselors available 24/7 to assist you and refer you to their network of top evidenced-based therapists and coaches for work, family, or personal problems.
  • Twenty-five free counseling visits a year, per covered family member.
  • Specialized services to assist you and your family during challenging times.

Legal Free 30-minute consultation with an attorney or mediator, and access to 24-hour emergency support
Financial Free 30-minute consultation with a financial counselor, and free 30-minute consultation with a CPA
Identity theft Free 60-minute consultation with a fraud resolution specialist, and free ID emergency response kit
Dependent care Resources and referrals for child, elder, and pet care, and 24-hour online and phone support

NEW FOR 2019! Starting January 1, 2019, Lyra will replace our current EAP administrator, Optum. Lyra offers improved access to high-quality providers, more comprehensive coverage, and online tools and apps for added convenience. With Lyra, you’ll have access to therapy how, when, and where you need it—in person, live video, or self-guided. If you’re currently seeing a therapist through Optum, you’ll have the option to transition to a Lyra provider.
